Elliott House is celebrating a double victory. Not only did the team launch the first
issue of a new employee magazine for Grafton Merchanting GB this year, but it
has now also been shortlisted for a national award.
The new magazine
called Connect has been shortlisted in the New Publication category of the
Institute of Internal Communication’s (IoIC) National 2013 Awards.
Launched in
February this year, the magazine is aimed at keeping the company’s 4,500
colleagues around the group informed of developments and engaged in the
business.
Elliott
House won the contract following a competitive pitch and are delighted to now
see it go on to win an IoIC Award of Excellence with the possibility of clinching
the overall Class Winner award in September.
Following
on from last year’s success, where the team’s interactive newsletters won an
Award of Excellence and a Class Winner award in the Digital category, Elliott
House tried its hand in the print category this year.
We’re
delighted to be shortlisted by the IoIC for this national award. We only
entered one of our publications this year and it’s fantastic to see this first
issue do so well.
We’re really proud of this new publication and thrilled to be
celebrating with the team at Grafton Merchanting GB.
We will be collecting the Award of Excellence at an awards ceremony in London on 27 September
2013 where we will find out if we have won the Class Winner award during the
evening.
Wish us luck!
